Are you planning a new business venture – either as a stand-alone start-up or an expansion of an existing business?
Then this might be of interest to you.
I prepared some notes for a short workshop on “Business Modelling” and these have been widely shared with business owners and managers. You are very welcome to download the pdf (see below).
If you are not familiar with “Business Modelling” – in a nutshell it is the research and thinking process that should be carried out even before you start to write the “Business Plan”. And importantly, it is a way of collaborating with your team as you record and test the important aspects of your venture.
It’s all explained in the notes. There are exercises and simple illustrations of the application of this technique.
They are designed to be an introduction to the key principles using the Osterwalder/Pigneur approach to defining and validating a business model.
